COH / COV - Project Caped Crusader: Looking For Contestant : City of Heroes - News

Whenever we go cruising by Atlas Park, it seems there's always a line of people standing in a row, which generally can mean only one thing – costume contest! It seems like no matter where you go, if your hero or villain isn't styling and profiling, then your character isn't much of anything. Given the robust nature of the character creation system and how much fun players seem to have with the system, we decided we wanted to start a contest/series to see who out there is the greatest character designer of them all.

We're officially hoping to get the ball rolling next week, but this week we want to start taking submissions from people who would like to get involved with the contest and enter. Do you think you have what it takes to be the ultimate costume designer? Each week we're going to give our contestants a challenge, asking them to create a character with certain guidelines, such as making the most heroic hero, the most demonic villain, or do things like relegate people to using certain models, sizes, sexes, color schemes…the works! Each week we'll eliminate a contest based on performance until only one remains: the Project Caped Crusader winner.

The winner is currently slated to receive a message board title as their reward, declaring them the winner, but who knows, if we get a lot of contestants and this turns into something bigger, perhaps there will be some more goodies for the winner.
