After
making a statement about PvP changes in
City of Heroes that didn't sit very well in the development team, community manager Lighthouse has
decided to step down from his job and pursue other opportunities outside of NCsoft. Lighthouse had apologized for and retracted the statement made a week prior to his resignation, but
the popular rumor seems to be that his departure wasn't a matter of choice.
No matter the reason, it's always difficult for a community to lose its liason with a game's development team. With the
Issue 13 update just around the corner, we hope that something can be done in order to make sure the players have a voice when it launches.
