Shadowhunter "Wolves" Exploit : COH - General / Guide - Discussions

Level 45 - 50 you can get a mission from the contact Maria Jenkins. It is the Shadowhunter mission that is not part of the story arc but independently given.

The mission is full of werewolves. These wolves only have a melee attack! So, find a tank or a controller/defender with hurricane, a blaster with nova or a few strong DPS classes and have at it!

How to do it:

All but the puller need to setup either on the brances of the tree or on top of the rock down one of the two paths in the forest part of this map. The idea is that they are out of melee range. Fly/Hover does the trick too.

The puller then aggros all the wolves, going group by group. The only thing to watch out for is the group with the AV in it. It will be at the bottom of the map, so no worries. Once you have aggro'd all the groups you can handle (lag factors in, be sure you put everything on low graphics wise if your computer isn't a dream machine), pull them down the path where all your friends are waiting.

Then... unload!

Rinse and Repeat ala resetting the mission (which is not complete until you click all the glowies AND defeat the AV).

This is extremely fast XP, especially if you do the SK trick (Have a level 45 friend running the mission bring a level 41 friend who sk's the guy you want to pl for example).

If you are a true power gamer, do yourself a favor and don't get this mission until you are level 50 or you will regret it. It can be used to PL your other account(s), friends and SG memebers like mad. With issue 3's repuation meter you can boost the mobs a couple levels (so they'll start at 52) from the get go, making those late night PL sessions (with few teammates) more fruitful.

And don't be too greedy. If you can find a level 46 to SK your PL target to level 45 the XP gain will be faster than SKing the target and going duo (more mobs and better xps per, even though it gets split more ways). This generousity will pay back later when you need other people's missions to complete preatorian AV story arc that you are suspending to keep the 'puppy mill' running.

I still have this mission...untimed. Sadly I am an invuln Scrapper, and they nerfed me, and gave the Wolves some ranged crap. In all honesty though, set for 3 heroes, one being 44, I can easily plvl a lvl 1 to about 28 in roughly 4 hours...not too bad.
