First, check your plugins. Make sure all of them have version numbers on the plugins tab.
Next, try setting your desktop resolution to 32 but colors.
Third, update your video drivers.

I've started getting this type of error, starting with 3.0 RC3...and it hasn't gone away since about that time. Could I have changed something unknowningly?
My Configuration:

OS: Windows XP Professional

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9700 TX

Game: DAoC: ToA

Desktop Settings: 1280x1024; 32-bit

Hardware: 2.4 GHz processor; 2GB RAM

Uninstall some of your plugins. It is probably the VB Controls Demo, or the DAOCSalvage calc , or the tradeskill plugin causing it.

okay...next question: how do I uninstall a plug-in? I've tried unchecking the box, and I've tried renaming the folder to make it impossible to find, but it still attempts to load them. I tried looking through the documentation files that came with XU, but haven't had much luck.
Thanks!

Drag it to the uninstall line on the plugins tab.

Hehehe...sorry about that...seems so obvious now. Sorry, but the trash icon was down the scrollbars a bit. I had a dickens of a time getting the ones all the way at the top; can you address this in a future release?
Ideally, there should be a way to either (a) collapse a category down by double-clicking on it's section header (i.e., Standard Plugins or 3rd Party Services), or (b) have the listbox scroll down as you hold the mouse cursor to the bottom or the screen. Because I never really bother with the plug-ins at the bottom of that listbox, I never really noticed the icon. %)
Thanks! It now loads once more, but I had to uninstall all the non-standard plug-ins; I should have it back in business by the weekend!
