Maps not working : DAOC Discussion

When I zoned into DF it loaded the camelot hills map... which didnt show anything . the new rvr dungeons also load the wrong / blank maps. How fix?

Also as soon as X loads daoc my explorer crashes and in some cases when checking the process list actually worked there were over 12 taskmagr running... just installed everything fresh today.
get a Drwatson postmot... something error and then i have to reboot comp

when i disabled drwatson i get can not write to memory errors when X brings up the game ( the game does still work and any programs i had running before i loaded the game work but i can not open any new things and folder/internet browsers close )

There are problems with the SP2 XP patch.

You can try the work arounds posted here on these forums, or uninstall the SP2 patch until we get the problems resolved.

Thanks that took care of the explorer.exe and the taskmgr problems, but some of the maps load incorrectly (have wrong zone names on them) and in some cases they are not centered on my char. the dot for my char is always in the corner of the map. Is this something i can fix or is it just a few of the maps taht are messed up

If the game has patched recently, you will need to wait until wyv posts his updated DAOCService for the new patch.

Its not an out dated radar service...

I had no map working in Darkness falls last week. Didn't go back in. It would show a map but nothing would display on it. Many of the Battle Grounds do not show correctly. Mostly arrows pointing the wrong way and such.

If there is a specific download for the maps I'm not aware of it.

Its not out of date, the map for DF and the RVR dungeons wont show for some reason

It dosent load the new map, it still has the map name of the zone that the dungeon is connected to... df shows cam hills map hibbie rvr showes brefine map

What server checkbox are you playing?

Same problem with me in any dungeon showing camelot hills and a blank map, im using the correct check box of SI US. Everything works except dungeons. I uninstalled XP SP. and Have this problem.
