From Catacombs,
Dragonpup has posted the Reaver Report July on the Vault's DAoC TL Reports forum:
While a solid, yet low population class, Reavers are in need of a few tweaks to bring them up to par on the battlefield. Very little has changed since the last TL report in regards to Reavers, so most will seem reminiscent. Read more in our Reaver Class Forum.
Stabbith has posted the Hero TL Report -- 1.70 (July 2004) over on the Vault's DAoC TL Reports Forum: New Issues Tanks need to have more abilities to counter magical attacks. These could potentially include, but not limited to, magical blade turn to counter bolts, a version of bodyguard comparable to the anti-melee version to prevent magical damage on a tank, and a comparable brittle guard to absorb a magical attack. Read more in our Hero Class Forum.
Artic has posted the July report over on the Vault's Valewalker Forum: New Issues -The lack of open field RvR has given tanks very little role in new frontiers. While Valewalkers posses some means of entertainment in standoff situations, the class remains at heart a melee class, channeling most of its spells into close-range melee. The lack of defined role for melee has not spared the class from serving its full potential. Read more in our Valewalker Class Forums.
Aphexplotz has posted the Warrior Report: 1.70 on the Vault's DAoC TL Reports forum: New Issues 1. The lack of open field RVR has given tanks very little role in new frontiers. Tanks are relegated to siege operators with no defined role in RVR. 2. Boiling oil, even after the reduction, does too much damage to players using rams. Read more in our Warrior Class Forum.
