CATACOMBS Test Version 1.73l Release Notes
November 12, 2004

===================================

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Beta testers will now be able to create characters in the ninth and tenth character slots under the Catacombs client.

- Players will no longer fall through the world when entering the Dark Caverns and the monsters will be the correct level.

- Frontiers and Trials of Atlantis monsters will now drop unique items for the new Catacombs classes.

Visual Quest Indicator

- Players will now see a yellow indicator under an NPC's feet if the NPC offers a quest for the player.

- If the player is more than 15 levels above the quest's minimum level, the yellow indicator will not be displayed on the NPC.

- Bounty quests and one time drop quests will not display a quest indicator.

- Please note that the indicator effect is not final and may still change.

Bainshee

- Area of effect bolts should no longer hit targets that are within a keep and out of view while the primary target is outside.

Vampiir

- The Vampiir's Power drain bolt now drains a percentage of power (based on the Vampiir's power pool) from the target instead of a flat amount. The Vampiir receives double the power that is drained from the target. The amount of power that can be drained from an NPC monster is capped at the level of the monster.
