It's quite real. Probably easiest form of it that I could think of esentially creates 1-sided lag, creating the appearance of you 'teleporting' between opponents. Many variations, using such a plugin will be very addicting and get you caught fast. Tread carefully into what you're attempting to discover.

Definitely not a myth. It is very buggy though due to the "1 sided lag" and will crash easily and often if you try to go too fast. I also highly advise against using it in RvR or ANYWHERE that someone might see you using it. If someone /appeals you for it you are done... if a CSR happens to see you using it you are done. All in all, even though it is cool and can help with some PvE encounters, it is a very bad idea. Using it in RvR would not only be dumb, it would be fairly ineffective unless you put it as Minstrel speed or slower. Ever try to target someone and style while running at about 3x minstrel speed? I can pretty much guess that "your target is too far away" hehe
