Well........... Your RR7 SB or RR6 Inf never needed to run for 10 minutes to get to Emain now did they? YOU didn't get ganked by archers, minstrels, infiltrators, shadowblades, radar groups, etc. on your runs towards Emain.

Try a Nightshade you FOTM loser.

Infiltrator = easy mode, especially now Minstrels (also easy mode) have AM.

Shadowblades were way overpowered and still can be with the right ToA equipment.

You needed no radar. Duh.. there's no reason for you to take radar. You just bought a ticket and ported right in the middle of the action.

I cant beleive that cheaters would go as far as trying to defend their "right" to cheat or something!
Its as simple as this: you have no skills/knowledge/brains and you must cheat to be competitive.

Yes, i get owned daily by people who cheat, but almost never 1 vs 1.

That also tells little something about mentality of ones who cant be equal in a fair game.

So nice. My NS is RR5. I fight RR9 and RR10 assassins daily. I can kill most of them because I have better gear. These fights take some time. I've been hit in the !@#$%^&* by gankgroups (read: RADAR groups) more than not while in such a fight.

Only to take another run back to Emain.

Sorry for those who don't cheat. But I'm not into giving cheaters the upper hand.

It's obvious he's 12-13 yrs old who is a latch key kid and has no friends because he seems to troll the boards on consistant basis yesterday, now today where is he? Playing DAOC and wishing his radar worked.

This whole thing is a pointless discussion. Mythic knows the real answer is to implement radar into the game. Then they put wyv out of business in the daoc arena. They got halfway there with the warmap. All they really need to do is put a proximity detection into it (say 3000 units) and bingo wyv's out 3-10k in users, everyone's on equal footing and, best of all, I keep my 20 bucks.

Mythic loves to waste time. Waste ours and theirs. It now takes about a year to get a toon from lvl 1 to lvl 50, complete gear assembly, ML abilities, farm 5 tons of coin, etc. They've finally realized that a 15 minute horse ride is not fun for anyone after the first 3 times. Thanks for the teleporters! Now they need to embrace the fact that you can't beat hacks in the long run of it. Just embrace what I'll call "enhanced vision" as part of the daoc package. In 6 hours of discussion and planning and 2 hours of programming they can put all this to rest instead of wasting countless hours detecting cheats.

So let's consider this. If wyv has only 3k users in daoc that means 60k annual income. I'm thinking he'll be ready to retire in 5 years because I doubt seriously less than a 10k base of users ($200,000) that's feeding this machine yearly. Good luck beating money Mythic! Just end the madness and make radar an in game function.
