When I attempt to launch XU is tells me to close the window and restart the application just like following a patch. The problem is it keeps doing this over and over and over and over etc, it just wont launch. Any ideas?

Sounds like a firewall/antivirus/security/zonealaram/etc type of software blocking your downloads.

Or, a virus, etc on your computer.

Something is causing the files to be corrupted or not downloaded.

Looks like a problem with the file hosting server, as I am getting some errors now too.

I'm sure they will get it fixed.

that sounds like a tcpip packet sniffer problem.

Did you uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer plugin?

It worked. So I deleted and downloaded again. Worked all night then started acting up again this morning. Gonna give it another try. I do have a pretty wacky internet connection lately <h8 comcast>. Wonder if it's messing up my stuff.

It might still be a problem with the file server.

They wre having problems and they might have uploaded an old copy of files.

They did. I replaced the file with the correct ones (not the 1.70o patch yet)
