DAOC - Hot Fixes : DAOC News

Here are the Hot Fixes for today:


- The Triumphant Valewalker Spell Breaker Dragonslayer weapon has been fixed so it requires the scythe skill and is properly considered a two-handed weapon.

- The following Dragonslayer weapons now have the proper version of the Perfectly Balanced proc for their damage type: Triumphant Hunter Night Slayer, Conquering Reaver Stone Splitter.

- The merchant Voidon, located in the Hibernian relic town, will now properly complete his sales. This fixes an issue where he would just pretend to try and sell to you and then show you to the exit.

- Savages can now obtain and complete the quest for their Dragonslayer Armor.

- When the Dragonslayer weapons were being designed, we solicited feedback on them on our internal boards. Some of this feedback has been implemented with the spells that were chosen for the procs on the weapons. However, a number of changes to bonuses on some of the items were suggested, but did not get implemented before the weapons made it to the Live servers. These changes are being implemented today. The bonus changes are subtle and the overall value of the bonuses hasn’t changed. The items affected are as follows:

- The following items have had their procs changed to Confound and Perfectly Balanced based on internal feedback:

- We have implemented trade-in quests for all of the Dragonslayer weapons: You can speak to the NPC that granted you the weapon in the first place and give them your current Dragonslayer weapon and they will offer you the reward choices again.

(Note: Some of the hotfixes made earlier this week did not apply retroactively to the weapons, so this trade-in quest will allow you to swap your weapon in for a corrected version. This would include any weapons that had the ‘Perfectly Balanced’ spell as the secondary proc and it didn’t swap out retroactively to the correct damage version with the hotfix earlier this week.)
