Sprinting with no stamina loss! : Darkfall Online - Submissions

Ok, this is tricky at first but once you pull it off its no problem.


1) You need Double-Jump.
2) You need Whirlwind attack.


Basically, you need to sprint forward. While running at sprint speed, you jump... Now release the Forward key ('W' by default) and release your sprint key.
Just before you land, perform the double jump..
As you land this time, right after you hit the ground, I mean the split second, you press and hold the forward movement key again.

You should now be "gliding" forwards with your arms stretched out like wings. It looks like your char is falling on the spot.

If you release forward movement or perform certain other tasks, the bug will break.


Now, this is where whirlwind comes in. While you are moving forward at sprint speed without using sprint, it looks very odd. Your char is basically floating forward. ITs quite funny actually.

If you perform a whirlwind attack while moving forward, you will exit the whirlwind animation into a sort of running animation.

With the buggy nature of Darkfall, this type of running will look a little less suspect than just floating.




If you cant get this workin, just keep trying. When you land it you will be like "oooooh, yeh now I get it".


It sure as hell helps when you find yourself without a mount.




PROTIP:
You can travel with autorun on once you get going. Pretty nice when you've no mount and dont wanna burn stamina but wanna hit sprint speed.
