Swim silently. : Darkfall Online - Submissions

If this is common knowledge or has been posted, my apologies.

While swimming if you tap on your left and right keys, (A & D are default) you won't make any noise in the water and can sneak up on people much easier.

This also works if you want to sprint swim by tapping on your sprint button. (shift key is default)

It worked for me last night. Now I could not hear myself swimming but of course no idea if others around can or cannot hear and if this is client side only. But I could not hear anything.

Yah, it works so no one else can hear you, I've tested it many a time.

So is this going to get me mebership or no?

nay, this is lame and hardly useful because it will take you an hour to traverse 5 feet of water silently.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and haven't learned to read an entire post. If you prefer to sprint swim and use stamina, you can tap the shift key. Also, if you are sneaking up on someone, common sense suggests they aren't a great distance away. Derrrrrrrr

Yah lemme download Fraps and I can do that, don't think a screenshot would help much.

If this can be done silently I would yay it, if it comes with some script so silent swim macroing is possible. Added love for a silent swim/dive macro.

Here's a video of me doing it, I realize I should have turned up my ambient sound or something so you could tell I wasn't muting it. Anyways, hopefully this works for you.

U do not have to macro it - VERY easy to do and just tap the buttons and silently you swim. Confirmed and Yay.

Yes you do have to macro.
Its not easy I left my computer on for 3 hours and it never figured it out.

As far as setting up a macro for it, I am sure it could be done, would just need to set it up to hit your left and right keys in succession, and have it on auto swim.

It is common knowledge you just don't go through the entire stroke and no noise is made. You can do it just by pressing W you dont even need to strafe.
