Throw this sucker straight to confirmed, you farmers are gonna love this=). It may or may not be common sense, but I just figured this one out yesterday while using my GF's toon with mine.
I was farming bloodstone, and that long !@#$%^&* run through the desert was making me nuts when it occurred to me. The wiz king's tomb is about 50 feet away from the bloodstone chest.
1) Run and loot the chest
2) Didn't get it? Figures.. Take a run to the wiz king about 10 seconds away and zone in.
3) Invite a second account character to the group (A hireling may also work, but who wants to wait an hour for the summoning)
4) Leave the quest and run back to the chest. Didn't get it again? Dammit..back to the wiz king!
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 over and over and over.
You now have a 10 second run to check the chest instead of a few minutes. This will work on everything that needs a reset of course. Just find a quest close to the chest you want to loot and save yourself some time.
This is also useful for farming firestorm greaves in the kobold area, and the wiz king puts you that much closer to the ring of spell storing as well. It isn't a 10 second run like bloodstone, but it saves you a good 5 minutes.
I don't know zones well enough to say where else this could be really useful for the purpose of looting rare items, but I know it could also be useful in the devil's battleground in the area by the titans where there's about 7 different rares that can be up...Saves a very long run there.
Now that DDO is free, this couldn't be easier to do with a second account that costs you nothing. Happy hunting.

Ill say yay, this is legit info and really common sense for those intelligent players, but lets face it not many of those are there
anyway this is good advice for those lacking in common sense to know that joining party and leaving it will reset an instance. Yay
