We are recoding the XU client. I am hoping that after that is done, that issue that would cause the error to come up will be gone.

I am aware of this problem.
I do not have a fix as of yet.
Workarounds: Make a vb6 wrapper for your c# plugin, and let xu install the vb6 wrapper.
I am aware of the search bug with the converted posts, and the incorrect authors in the index.

I created a set of dlls that should allow anyone to just create C# assemblies and not have to worry about COM or anything. Im still creating some wrappers to make it all purdy, like a XUWindow wrapper to hide some of the problems that I have with the XUWindow members. Some Properties and stuff werent doing so great when imported with interop.
It was 3am last night when i was trying to test my c# version of framerate, and i fell asleep kinda and my comp crashed. Not sure if it was a fluke with EQ2 or that i have some issue with AMD<->XUnleashed.
If I get this to work, Ill share the work for those that are interested.
