Im new to EVE, and I'm hoping that a expericenced player will be able to help me here.

Im wondering if it's possible to start the game as a caladari but later in the game fly amarr ships.

-I've also been wondering, can a frigate do a little damage to a larger ship? at least enough damage to make the other piliot say "darn, that little frigate hurt." or atleast take the ship's health 1/8 of the way down,

all help is appreciated.

The answer is yes...you just need to train up the skills for those ships.

as for the frigate question ... it all depends on the set up of the frigate and the ship your attacking.
A excellent frigate set up will deal out some damage to a larger ship if it is set up poorly ...
Personally I have beaten NPC battleships in a Caracal so it is possible :P

Although i do recommend Battleships for most applications of PWNAGE!

I've completed a 4/10 solo in an Enyo, and that includes the battleship at the end. That fight alone lasted more than 10 minutes, but yes- a frigate can take down a BS. It is very rare to do so, but it does happen in PvP as well.

Ive beaten battleships left and right with my solo stealth bomber. Make sure you have a pre set area bookmarked in your deadspace or place where your ratting to warp to. Stealth in towards your target keeping 2km away from other ships, asteroids etc. Get in a decent range based upon your missile skills. Align to your bookmarked spot. Uncloak, Paint the Target, launch your torpedoes (All my Siege Bay Launchers are grouped), if you have target disruptors use them also. When you start taking a couple of hits to your shield simply warp out to your bookmark. Repair or wait a few for your shields to fill up before you warp back to where your Battleship is chillin. He will of repaired some, but with the amount of damage your doing with your torpedoes (caldari bane torpedoes), he will die and you will be like 50,000isk richer if hes a rat. Minmatar hit and run ftw.
