Is there a program that will post a message in chat/local every X minutes?

Yea really simple to do. Have you tried creating one with macroexpress or autoit?

Thank you for your reply. I'm not familiar with macroexpress or autoit and doubt I will manage to get far. Is there maybe a macro in the premium sections of this forum?
