Weekly Topic 1: Does macroing have a bad effect on games? : EVE Online General Discussions

Every week I wil be posting a topic here in the eve section for people to talk about.


So what do you guys think, does macroing and using explots have a bad effect on games. Just because you are using them, doesnt mean they dont have an effect one way or the other.


What are your guys thoughts, does macroing and finding exploits and using them, have a bad effect on games?

macroing is one thing....thats a semi cheat....Using exploits is bad, but in the long run improves the game...just my 2 cents

I find nothing wrong with macroing. It's just like hiring someone to do the stuff for you while you're gone. Is that wrong too?

macros are fine, they make not even half as much as mining in 0.0 does, its nice gettign ur first bs, but thats where it ends

personally, to be completly safe using the macro and being sure you dont lose your ship, I would think you wouldnt go much further down than .6 or so in system security. And the ore availiable to a person in such fairly high security systems is not like macro mining is really making that much of a dent. Now if you told me you could safely macro mine Ark for hours on end, thats different.............in fact, tell me how :p
