We use carriers as haulers predominantly. this is how to pack em tight,
You will need an iteronV with 4 local hull conversion cargo expanders.
Fit the iteron with expanders, and load the cargo bay to max, unfit the expanders and stick the iteronV into the carrier, repeat with as many iterons will fit.
You can get more in by adding giant secure containers to the iteronV

Wait a sec....are you saying the cargo bay stays expanded with no cargo loss after removing the expander fittins?!
Thats a exploit all in itself!

Yes it does, but you are prevented from 'undocking' this way , however if you put the ship in another ship - you can get around this.

I can't verify, since I lack a carrier and don't know anyone with one...

Works with any combination of ships as long as you have the room.

I don't see how it would work. The largest capacity of a Titan is 65,000 M3, and an Iteron V will take up 275,000 M3 unpackaged, and it will hold only maximum of 21,000 M3 with all the cargo expander. So you can't fit an un-packaged Iteron into the Titan anyway.
Even if you use this trick on a Freighter like Obelisk, which has 900,000M3 with all skills, you can only fit 3 Iteron V and hold 63,000 M3 of stuff, why not just chunk the stuff into the hull directly?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

we are talking carriers though..
500k hanger space, skip the iterons addd occator and a viator
with local hull then fill them up, but the real trick is you can un fit the local hulls with these ships over loaded...

Ah, you are talking about hanger space, my bad. The unfit expander trick does come in handy sometimes.

The full method is to fill the occator with local hulls and make sure the cargo is in giant secures as each one has 3k mass but holds 3.9k cargo
works a treat another way to ship large ammounts of mins is to manufacture them into 100mwds when repro's they yield about 10 times there mass back in mins. Some might know of this trick as compressed mins.
