heres a great way to make some money in eve. Find out what your insurance payout is, then what it costs to insure your ship to platinum. Now, find your same ship in the market, and find someone who is selling the ship at a low price. Add the insurance fee to that, and make sure it comes out to less than the insurance payout. Warp into an asteroid field and let rats kill you. (DO NOT SELF DESTRUCT OR EJECT- it will cause the insurance to void, and i recommend not attacking concord to kill yourself either). NPC rats medium security zones will NEVER pod kill you so you have nothing to worry about. Once your ship is destroyed and you have your insurance payout, buy the new ship, and you just gained the difference. You also recieve one mineral and a new newbie ship, but those are pretty much worthless. If you can continually find someone selling that ship cheap, you can make money insanely fast. I made 12 mil one day on Thorax's, and iv made various other amounts with other ships, and its fast. You would be suprised how often people sell the ships low enough for you to make a profit, if you cant see one in your region ask a corpmate or friend in his region. It's insanely easy.
