 xu is restarting my comp : EQ1 EverQuest 1 Discussion

everytime i run xu it restarts my comp, and i have deleted and reinstalled three times...
|

i tried nortons virus scan and it still restarts.. this sucks.. lol

If you cannot get it to work, ask the admin for a refund.
I can still help you to try and get it to work, however.
First, what OS are you running?
Have you done ALL windows updates?
If you are on WinXP, SP2 is considered a windows update, install it.
Installed the Microsoft .Net framework 1.1?

thank you very much the updates, got me in the game but now, the screen goes blank. but keeps me in the game when i hit the stop recording button

Do not open up any plugins and see if you can get straight into the game.
Do you have an AMD processor?
