The players have spoken, and ask that the number of quests a player can be currently working on be increased from the current limit of 19 concurrent tasks.
In response, Developer Nodyin asked in the EQPlayers thread, "Can you help me understand why you need more slots than that? Why do you want to work on that many things at once?"
Players responded with many answers, with the most common being that often you can't complete a quest without help from others, and so move on to something else for the time being. Players would like to come back to quests at a later time when the opportunity to progress presents itself.
For comparison, EverQuest II has the ability to have 75 concurrent quests open at any time. Perhaps EQ needs an overhaul on the number it allows ...
