#1 is there a search function on this board somewhere? I can't seem to find one for the life of me, and if there is i could pry use it to answer question #2.
#2 I remember reading a post sometime back about a /command to target NPC's through walls etc if you were close enough. Been reading through threads trying to find it but can't. I think it used the NPC # found in the log files like where it says \aNPC 13494 Merchant Gorga:Merchant Gorga\/a. Anyone help me out?
Thanks

We took down search temp because it isnt indexing everything yet.
Well it would depend on what game area your info is pertaining to. I would say guide discussion.

It would be the command used in EQ2.
edit: To go into a little more detail on what I am looking for. I know the command /apply_verb 12345 can do some of what I am looking for. if I do "/apply_verb 12345 assist" to a quest NPC it almost always give me him as a target. The problem with using this is I have to be in normal mouse click range of their mouse clickable apply verb selection.
I am trying to run writs as quickly as I can dragging along 2 other chars with me. One example: in the freeport milita house I have to run up and get to Viscount Gelvonius to get the T5 writs. I usually run one char up one flight of steps, stand on the table, target him upstairs, run back down to the entrance and hit "h" to hail him till I get the writ I want. Then I hit my assist button on the other 2 chars, which gives them the target, and they can hail him to get the quests from there as well.
I don't want to have to run any of the chars up to target him if I can help it. The /apply_verb doesn't work from very far away. I am hoping there is some command to target an NPC based on his ID#, that has a larger range than /apply_verb.
