I'm always on the lookout for unique raiding guilds. Once in a while I come across one that just so happens to also be good at raiding. Static is one of these such guilds. Formed during Earth and Beyond, this multi-gaming guild now has a team in quite a few of the more popular MMORPG's. The EverQuest II division of Static raids on Mistmoore on European time. Make sure to check out their website and let us know what you think about the interview in our forums. Now for a peak at the interview.....
Dumperd - 1. Guardian - Yeah, Berserkers can be just as good in some situations, if not better in a certain situation, but for the overall raiding experience, I have my trust no where other than a Guardian for tanking the toughest of big bad meanie foes.
2. Brigand - I don't know any other class that can debuff, as well as keep constant DPS on a mob as well as a brigand.
3. Defiler - Not only do they offer some of the best debuffs in the game, in some ways even superior to Mystics, but their group buffs are also best for max HP upon the MT. I would rather have a defiler on a raid as opposed to a mystic, but when they are both there at the same time, it's what you call "orgasmic." Can I say that on here?
Tamat - NO! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!? I'll let it slide just this once!
Tamat - What would you say the primary ingredients for an "Uber Guild" are?
Dumperd - Dedication. I think that is the only thing uber guilds need. Strategies come with time and practice. Skill comes through hard work. All of this comes from dedication. Without it, your members will fall into a mindless zombie-like state, clicking buttons and eating Doritos. But with it, even the average player, through time, become an outstanding raider. And when each player in your guild has it, well, that's when you experience world-wide first content.
Tamat- I always ask but … Ninjas or Pirates?
Dumperd - I've read previous answers to this age-old question, and I have often thought to myself, Dumperd, would you rather be a Ninja or a Pirate? Well, I'd like to be a Ninrate. It's a Ninja/Pirate hybrid, if you didn't catch that. It has the charming characteristics of a pirate, the wooden leg, the parrot, the eye patch, feathered plume hat, and who could forget the scurvy. But at the same time, you get the agility, black suite, katana, ninja stars, and of course funny sandals (and yes, one that covers your wooden peg-leg). Yes, I would rather be a Ninrate. Or perhaps, a Pirajas.. but that just sounds stupid.
