EQ2 Forums Maintenance Extended Through Monday : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Getting through any major software migration can be a tricky thing. As you all know, we are working hard to transfer the EQII forums over to the new system that will allow for many great things in the future. Getting to that new system is quite a hurdle though, and the transition process is taking longer than expected. As such, the migration project is being extended through Monday to give the team on it more time to shake down all the major issues.

I want to thank you for your patience and understanding, crowding into a temporary forum is a bit claustrophobic for everyone involved, but we are going to hold off on going live until the weekend is over. Thanks for your understanding, and don't forget that it is the weekend, and you can be in the game checking out all the Erollisi Day content! The Erollisi Day celebration will end on February 16th, so don't skip out on the chance to have some fun while the forums are barricaded and dusty.

Something else you need to know:

On the new forums system you will not be allowed to have a Forum Handle that matches your Station Name. This is done to prevent account security issues and protect users accounts. For complete details check this post in the forums
