I guess this is not a exploit so put it here.
To prevent low power level when crafting, try to get some REAL good drinks. With my lvl 27 Mystic (lvl 20 Sage), if I use Tier 3 High Satuation drinks I never encounter power leakage. This is really useful if you want to keep every craft pristine by using power-durability buff.
So... It maybe wise to start an alt char for crafting, you can use Tier 1 / 2 High Satuation drinks, even at higher tradeskill lvl (because the power required for a buff is calculated in the proportion of your MAX power).
Hope this helps.

Just a FYI ... It is best to use a drink that is matched to your level. If you are lvl 15 then anything over Tier 2 drink will have the same regen effect. Anything under Tier 2 will have the same effect as basic drink. If you are lvl 50 then use Tier 5 or basic cuz anything lower is the same effect. The only real difference if you are not using the appropriate tier is the durration.
