Help finding goot T3 Harvesting spot? : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Hi guys I use the harvesting bot and my harvesting toon is level 7 so harvesting in TS is an adventure....

I am having a hard time finding a place that is safe to harvest in... There is a spot near coldwind station that I am using right now, but the script eventually times out once I have harvested everything there.

I am on a PVP server so I can't harvest with my main, so I need to use my low level alt. I run the macro afk and while I go to work and sleep... I don't care if i get banned

Any suggestions would be helpful.

you cant you will need to lvl you harvesting toon or use a different higher lvl toon sorry dude

Thats correct. You will need to trivialise the area you want to harvest before running a macro on it.

havent tried to play on a PVP must really suck to macro on them

Hmmm.... Thats too bad... Like I said though there is a small area near the centaur campl in TS that my toon can easily harvest, the only problem is it quickly harvests everything in that area and then timesout before anything comes back.... I suppose I could increase the timeout time...

I have been experimenting with trying to have my toon harvest that area then follow a specific path to Sout East Tower Station and harvest the safe stuff there.... So far no luck...

PVP harvesting sux cause if you trivialize the area then you are open to PVP in that zone, and while you may not get killed by NPCs you are sure to die from the PCs.

I dont play on a PVP Server, so, im not sure if the zones are differen't, but, if your looking for a good spot to harvest T3, there is, or, atleast there was last time a checked, an instance zone used for a Heritage Quest. Cove of Decay maybe? Either way, if your main in 40ish, you can zone in and harvest to your hearts content as all the mobs should be grey. Since they implemented the rezone times, you only get to do this once, but, I suppose it's better than looking around all over hells half acre for a good spot to harvest.

When I level a new toon, and need to harvest in TS I always do so at the first field on the right after you enter TS. Alot of mobs in the area, but generally easy to avoid them. That, or the griffon fields. If you haven't gotten the centaurs pissed off at you, then you can travel around the edge of the fields and harvest like a maniac.

But to the OP issue, wether or not it's PvP or PvE you need to level above the said zone's mob level to effectively use a Harvesting Macro.

Although I don't use the macro I can see that it would be doubly hard within PvP server when you would be in danger of both NPC mobs and PC's. You can level a toon to 20 within a day by and collection quests. You can probably get it to a lot more with a lot more collection quests. The only way around your problem at least in terms of NPC mobs is to level to 41. There is also a Zarvonn's tower for T3 harvesting, but you still have to be careful of mobs, and much like Cove of Decay, you have to zone back out and in to repopulate the harvest nodes.
