Once you leave you can't go back unless you start a new character.
|

untrue. you can go back at lvl 50 to kill a lvl 58^^^ dragon for the deception quest (long and many many steped quest)

True, kinda. Its an instanced zone now. It looks like the IoR, but its not the same zone that you start the game in- and all the NPCs are dead.
