Just an FYI for people who read this. Potions have a skill to use them. So before you go buy or make a potion for your toon, make sure to check the skill required to use them. Dont go buying a potion too high that it's useless to you for many levels.

Actually all potions are listed 1-X ... so any potion can be used by a lvl 1 player (they check against magic afinity) Once you reach X they begin turn white/blue/green/grey.
The effects sometimes scale by skill, so they might not be as effective, but you CAN use them.

yes u can use them but why would u, it's a waste of money. Each tier has the same potions as the one before it. My point was to make sure u have the skill to properly use the potion. Same goes for food/drink. Do you go and buy tier5 drink cause you think it will give u a greater regen? no, it does not, it gets capped at what your current lvl regen should be with food/drink.

Honestly why would anyone waste the $ on potions. Im a LVL 29 Alchy and am rethinking the grind. All my potions (as far as I have seen) use the rare by product for the glass. So from 25-29 I can only use the rare by product.
By the time I buy the product and then make the potion using the new fuel costs its well above the usable price. I think they need to revamp the potions and poisons to be more effective. No one wants to buy these things. IMHO
Please prove me wrong....
