First, let me say that this program is amazing and simple to use.
My problem is that I am getting very few pristine combines. I am currently a 21 Alchemist using even level recipes. Obviously pristine inks are very important to my alchy (and alt Sage), but I am only averaging about 25%. Since there is only room for 3 buffs, does anyone have any suggestions about how to increase my pristine production?
Thanks and great job with EQ2 Crafter.

You can create an EQ macro to say use 2 of the counters on one button Then place it in the "1 2 or 3" spot. Works well though timing can be an issue at times.

If you are not using crafting bot, it is possible to make nearly everything pristine.
Use durability buff all time is the key. Besides countering the right buff, use buff every tick. I usually use 2 of them every tick which do not consume power. After all I had great success making pristine ink / spells etc., and now I'm making T5 items.

Well the macro is great and I use it alot.
But I don't let it do anything when I have to make pristines unless the pristines are green level and then I even expect a 10%+ failure rating.
So what is the best way to use the macro?
Well for me I let it do all my bulk parts for crafting. Things that don't matter to my final combines. For example on inks for my scribe. The only thing I let it make are are warts. The inks themselves I do by hand myself.
Now some tricks to do. From 10th level of each tier. Figure out what your parts are for each craft you do. Then make about 100 of each part. Let the macro do that for you. By the time you have your parts done you will be about x5 in level ( 15,25,35 ) ect. Then you can start to work on your final combines. And for some of them you can let the macro take over. For example on my tailor I do a ton of other parts and then baby sit the macro on hide plates and threads which are usally green after I do all my other parts. And by babysit I mean I let the macro run the repeat keys and spam the 2 durability buffs if the craft starts to tank then I move the mouse and take over manually. I can get 100% pristines this way on thread and plates.
In your case as an alchemist most of your parts consisit of warts ( resin, wash, oil ). So plan to make about 600 of each. Plan the average at 3 per creation. If your skills are high you will do better. But it is better to have extra then not enough. So you will need about 600 candles 1200 root 200 wood. Then set up the macro to do one batch of each wart. By the time it is done you should be close to level x5 or better. And you should have all the warts you need to see you through to the next crafting tier. From level x5 to the next tier just go down your list and make one of each item you can to pristine and then work on your items to make money after that if your not already into your next crafting tier.
