The Arena : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Alright for those of you who dont know you can duel with pets in the arena you can buy these pets from the guy outside of the entrance or you can get them from quest, or faction. lordannoyboy wrote up that you can make alot of cash selling these on your broker but people like to buy the rare or hard ones to get so my friend and i made an arena game with unlimited time and made the max kills 50 so i just stood outside of where he came out of and killed him till i had 50 kills when you reach 200 arena kill you will get new combatants we got theese and sold them on the broker for alot of cash. Then we went back and did the samething untll we had 500 kills and we got the suffix title The Combatant. We then bought insignia coins and both got different factions so now we had even more combatant pet variety after doing this we got 1 of every pet and put them up on the broker and they sold rather quickly because people did not know where to get them. They also sold at a good price.

does unlocking new combatants 'stick', or once you buy one, do you have to repeat the entire process, should you decided to sell the first one?

I believe they stick, because it's dependent on the number of Kills you have. If you go discover the arena the first time, it opens up about 4-5 new ones that you can purchase right away. This is actually an idea that I've had for sometime, but haven't been able to implement due to a lack of interest. There is no one on myserver playing in the arena, but I think I have a solution for it in the future. If it works I'll post it.
