The n00b island was really nice, a pleasant surprise but then I got to Qeynos and the white mobs (aka somewhat of a challenge to kill) gave a meager 1% exp per kill, I was like wtf.
The models look pretty nice but have lots of bugs, coming from FFXI it was defenitelly way worse done.
Quest system was a lot better, especially compared to EQ1.
I'm only level 7 though so don't know much yet but so far my impression is I'll keep playing FFXI.

Would this be worth abandoning my lvl 32 sam with 60 cooking in FFXI to switch to this game?
Another gaming buddy says not to that it WAY more addictive than FFXI, But I am sooo F**kin sick of most of the doo gooders on FFXI
What ya guys think?

Tbh unless they start with the PvP content in EQ2, rather than making it a PvE orientated game then throwing in PvP at the end as a cheap 'add-on' then alot wont play this game.
NONE can run this game in max mode, as they have set the tep graphic settings for comp and hardware which ain't even released the the consumers yet. Something like an 3GB ram, 4ghz pc, 256mb grpahics card is needed.
Can barely run mine in the lowest performance, while I can run Doom 3 in High performance with suitable FPS - comparedto eq2 i just get 10 or belwo fps in anything above lowest quality.

From what I have seen, it is very compariable to ffxi. basically EQ1 with a new look and graphics.

wyvernx";p="46292 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): From what I have seen, it is very compariable to ffxi. basically EQ1 with a new look and graphics.
I've read somewhere that they have it so if you want to run full bore you need a SUPER HIGH END Pc?? what are the system recommendations for this game?
I think I'm gonna preorder.

Here's some info about system requirements and how the game will run on your PC.
EQ2 Performance Evaluation
I have a 2.8 GHz P4
1 gig of ram
Radeon 9800 XT
I have the highest settings turned on everything except AA and the game runs very smooth.
