Here's the trick. Use wormwood, corn, or pu-erh leaves (T5) to make chloro washes. They sell back for 6s69c and cost a fraction of that to make. Not as effective as the Fossil Temper exploit, but will make you some spare cash at lower levels until you can craft T4 stuff for profit.

The only issue is that raw used for this is also used by Provisioners, which means they usualy sell on the market for more than their worth. I have also found that wormwood usualy sell for less than 5s, but corn and pu-erh leaves sell for more than 5s.

yea, also the nodes that give wormwood have no rares so they are not over harvested like the Ore/Stone nodes are. Not going to make BIG money off of it, but it's nice for a few gold every week. I just check the market periodically and buy it up, then when I have about 30-40 stacks I'll craft them all.

ok.. so you get 6s69c per 4 pristines made... and one wormwood + 4c candle +6c water... so as long as I pay less than 15s per wormwood.. I can make a profit.. is that right? what is the most I can pay.. and still make a profit

Not you get 6s659c total. If you make 1 pristine you get the full amount any other amount it will be divided by that number. Word of caution all pristine’s stack now and you will get the lowest price if you stack a 1x pristine with a 2x, 3x, or 4x.

Any other recipes like this one that someone could turn a profit on?
Any help for this poor sage would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked, yet to find any. Best thing to do is spend time experimenting after a big server patch or any patch that makes changes to tradeskilling. That's usually when SOE screws something up allowing these types of "exploits"
