GEt a creature book i.e orc society, then sell to vender. get it again and resell.

i have been doing this at cross roads, get orc society book from tower, (its behind a shield by door) sell to vender near by. get again and so on.

book sells for over 5s. ive made 5g in no time at all.

this has been working since major patch today.

get it before its nerfed.

hope this brings me a nice reward

Confirmed to work today. As a better approach, try the elementals book obtained in the mage tower in SQ. This sells for more due to the fact that it's city merchants, and there is a vendor right there as well.

Another use:
Use the offset hacks to go to TS, bring up a merchant window in the village, and chain sell the giant/centaur mastery tomes

I guarantee it will be fixed by tomorrow. The GMs are aware of it, and are occasionally disabling merchants in various exploitable areas. The respawn timer is about 30 seconds it seems, but if you double-click on the books it always seems to give it to you

Wanna go into a bit more detail? I dont understand what you mean by tower in crossroads, i've never heard of these books before..

short patch has just started. im guessing this is a fix. for the exploit. i made about 50g. hope some u guys made lots too.

not likely, majority of game money came in the form of crating, which isnt profitable anymore

Make money as an alc, think it's common knowledge now, as I was told its been posted to forums ( couldn't find it ). Works best with a T5 alc

I believe that was nerfed. I know the T3 pristines sell for only 5cp each now =(
It's ridiculous, since selling items to NPCs is really the only way to get cash into the economy. By preventing any sales to NPCs, they are preventing cashflow. In other words, only the uber will have horses or anything larger than a 2 bedroom appt.
