This could be useful for future macroing. (submitted elsewhere about a week ago as well but wanted to be sure i got it to here once they gave me access).
Go to the merchant in tradeskill instance. start vendor mode as usual. Hug
the wall into the crafting area all the way to the crafting section. From
there, you can move down the wall to at least the second set of
workstations, and you can use both the jewelery and alchemy stations while
accessing the vendor. Set up shop, set it up to buy anything you need in
whatever quantity, clear out your inventory of everythign but sellable
materials.
Right now it will work with tier 2 stuff from the vendor, as you can buy the
subingredients off merchant.
Now you set the macro up as follows.
Buy 20 candles/coal (however you would do it this is an example)
Buy 20 resins/washes/whatever main ingredient calls for (mine would be
lead/tin whatever is on the merchant)
Buy 20 water / whatever the other component is.
Scroll that window back up to top (so window resets for next round of
buying).
Do the round of crafting
Sell EVERYTHING in inventory back.
End macro.
Rinse and repeat.
The buying while crafting part is the basis of what im telling you though, i
craft for hours without moving just restocking as i need it.
Perhaps someone could clarify it a bit, but thats basically it.
You can buy and sell as long as you update the window by sellingor buying before you switch tabs.

Another bug:
Jump on the banister underneath the broker in tradeskill instance. You can move camera just right and buy from broker while still downstairs. Then you can also work taht tailor station or woodworking staiotn with it open. Uset this for macroing in future? In addition, you could use this together with the other bug above and bascially create a smart enough scritp that will buy raw materials from the broker, and merchant as needed and craft as needed. All without moving. Thats the beauty.

sorry i don't think i could count this in for prem access. The fact that you can only go down a level or 2 knocks out a lot of the other tradeskills, plus we already have a way of stopping the distance check from even happening.

Nope. You post in the discussion sections under information. Then if its proven to be working and is good it gets moved to confirmed. I think this can be moved to the guide section and worth 25 points. Nothing amazing but a nice trick at the least.

You do not need to do this hug the wall or anything. Also, you can close the window whenever you want. If you are within range all you need to do is click the merchants name in the chat screen, from there u can buy or sell anything u need. Also, if u hack the range u can use this method as far away as u wish, and not have to worry about accidently closing the box. This same method works with the broker and hacked distance range.

theres a better way: (again, not an 'exploit'- hell, I spelled this all out months ago in the crafters channel). Use the NPC link method I desctibed elsewhere to open a merchant session. Now whatever you want to buy, you simply /buy_from_merchant (item id#, quanity). few notes: the item id is the one you see when you look at a link in your text editor. HOWEVER, there is one caveat: many id's display as being a negative number. Common sense dictates that theres somthing wrong- (plus it just doesn't work lol). So...whats going on? Simple- somewhere between the server and the client, the clients getting confused about weather these are signed or unsigned numbers. They are unsigned, but the client is displaying signed numbers. So how do you get the 'real' id? well, most of you already can do this in your sleep, but for the uninitated: open the crappy little calculator that comes with windows. Click on view, make sure your in scientific mode. make sure your in Dec. mode- enter or paste the mangled id number. Now click on the hex radio button to convert to hex. Then switch back to dec. The calculator isn't smart enough to ask if its a signed or unsigned number, so it kicks out unsigned, which, luckily is what we want. Second caveat: the range for quanity is 1-20.
So your making...well anything- you need to buy stacks of fuels- make an in-game macro (the ones SOE allows lol) and set it to /buy_from_merchant 123456789 20.
bada bing.
Hate to criticize, but alot of this stuff is pretty newb. Just bought a sub today- not impressed with anything yet...95% of the crap you guys post I- a regular non-programer Joe, figured out forever ago.
