 EQ2 Cheat: Speed Exploit : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

comfirmed that this will work.
anyone that still has the spell scroll Altered Vision (mage spell). if you check the info on the spell in game it will tell you that it will cast inVisibility, reduce speed by 20% and increase speed by 625%.
have confirmed that this works, just have a mage lvl 40+ scribe the spell than cast it on you. you now be able to run at times 600%. was able to do the Feerrott Jboots ruin in less than 1 minute..
Note...The spell will disappear from your spell book after logging out.
Does that mean i can get a memership on the site now..

No, hes right, it was an actual bug that surfaced with LU 13. Nerfed, by way of removing the spell. As mentioned, if you have the scroll, you can scribe it and use it till you log (or perhaps even zone).

hmm, Naz, what do you think: worth prem? Its a valid exploit, limited in that it consumes a spell scroll which can not be replaced. The supply of these scrolls is very low no doubt, so the odds anyone could actualy use it are low... but technicly it is still good...

I mis-spoke. The run speed was nerfed, but only because they pulled the spell. Now its really nerfed, since scrolls for spells that dont exist anymore have been removed- if you had the scroll, you could still take advantage of the exploit, until LU 14 (today). At the time of posting, it was a valid exploit, and a pretty good one at that, since it gave us somthing to remember to watch for: keep an eye on test- if a spell is getting pulled, stock up on scrolls for it. moving to nerfed.

No the exploit was still there when the poster posted, just you had to have the scroll of the spell that no longer existed. Come LU14 (on Oct. 5th) it was completely nerfed.
So in other words the exploit is now nerfed, but the thread starter still gets prem.
