 EQ2: Easy Money : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

Created a new character today and found that the basic tradeskill items Fossil Temper etc. are being sold on the Isle. Since the patch you can't get these from the brokers in the tradeskill instances. They only cost 1c and you can trade them through the shared bank and sell them on a broker. I have seen these selling on the broker for 2s on my server.

Tried this Friday. Still works fine. I transfered some extra loot to a newb character through shared bank slot. Proceeded to sell them to merchant. Purchased 15 stacks of the stuff. Then I transfered them to my city character via the shared bank slot again.
HOWEVER
The entire weekend I stayed selling with a price of 35c per vial. On average I competed against 1 or 2 others selling them for 1s each. I sold a grand total of zero of them. So I guess how well this works is greatly dependent apon the need on your server.

You'd need a character who has already gained citizenship, plus your newbie character on the isle. A good idea would be to have a character permanently placed there, and trade good thru the shared bank slots.

if you buy it on the noob island for 1 cp does it sell for 1cp to the merchant in the city?

I tried this a while back once I heard that the tempers were only 1cp on the Isle. I bought them up and placed them in my shared bank slot. Logged with my main and tried selling them in LSA. They were still 1cp off of 5 different vendors.

this isn't a buy/sell exploit - you buy the fossil temp for 1c on the island move it to the mainland and put it on your broker for 1-2s or whatever
good for new people, but i like having my broker stocked with my 50s-10g items 
would have been cute tho when i had started lol

No, its still effective. Though only because of the economy. Not an exploit though. I'll move it to guides then.
