Just take any newbie apartment and you will be charged 5 silver a week. If you take all of your stuff out and relinquish the apartment about 5 hours before your rent is due, and then take it back after they collect the rents and you will save yourself 5 silver a week!

yea.. you can just relinquish without taking anything out, and then buy it back.. that is a matter of 5 seconds... 1 sp / second! weee 
oh, and no need to wait until 5 hours before, and then until after its due.. if you relinquish and then buy again you'll get a fresh one, 7 days on the rent, no matter what you had..
oh and yes, items in the vault stay...

I'll try to make this a better thread.. If you live in a Status house and don't own enough stuff to zero the status, have a friend/guildmate bring some dragons in to zero it. Whatever it takes.. Zero the status part. Then prepay your rent up to the max.. Your friend can remove the stuff and you have to pay Zero status until the rent is due in 4 weeks.
Still a little hassle, but better than 4s?

Just an idea for a rent reduction quick exploit for larger renters. I've been addicted to the group arena with my static party (3 of us). Well whenever we run it we get the pet dreadsnout. Well everytime we got 1 we'd drop it into our inn room. I didn't realize you weren't supposed to hold 2 of these but apparently, when you place them you can loot more. Needless to say I have about 20+ running around my room and realized later they have a rent reduction value on them. Can anyone confirm if these do in fact stack? Would be funny to own a free 5 room pig-pen.
I am in a cheapy room now so I have not tested this.

LOL it is without question the laggiest zone in the game for me. I've been in sales mode more than once and had people come in (to buy, I assume), and have to come in more than once, or start sending tells asking me to come outside to sell because they litteraly lag out and get disconnected. Along with the dragons, theres a handfull of hellhounds, dogs and a cat. Plus all the furnishing. (Its in SQ, btw- not QH- forgot...MY house is in QH, the house I use to store everything is on a friends account, just in case I loose my acct, all my house items are safe.

lol, i have a lot of lag in my house aswell because i have floating items  I also have a monkey and a ton of crap from the christmas thing.
I do not think that is worth all that hassle for saving 4 sp.....
