 EQ2: Shiney Brass Halberd Exploit : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

What: Quest Exploit - Dragoon K'Naae of the Thexians

In the second phase you are supposed to kill patchworkmen and other high 27+ group undead mobs near nektropos castle
The Exploit: You can kill Cackling Cadavers at the Common Land zone in (level 21-22, solo mobs) Since you have to kill around 100 of them this can save alot of headaches and xp debt and makes this step soloable
What Changed: The Crackling Cadavers used to be skeletons, now they are Zombies matching the undead type up at the castle.

Nice find.
I just did this part last night *sigh*, but my wife still needs it. And she hates grinding. Hopefully this will work. I will check it out tonight.

I went into Antonica and killed the skeletons at Caltoris and got credit for those as well

i didn't even bother checking to see if this has been said but i just finished the sbh heritage today and i killed the zombies in the graveyard back in freeport... took like 10 minutes to get all 100
|

actually this works with several quests
PGT kill 100 skeletons... any skeleton i've foudn works
SBH get 100 skins ... any zombie i've found works

Many non-Heritage "kill counts" work that way too.
(ex) In The Feerrott, Reza wants lizards, snakes and dragonflies. The lizards in Antonica are pretty easy, as are snakes in city adjunct zones.

Maybe not, but the method still works for a lot of other quests like it. So i'll keep it up.
