This has been happening on the Venekor server. I do not participate, but this is how it works.
For thoes of you that don't know, the new pvp rewards require tokens that are recieved from the chest of a victim. Tokens drop at a rate of 0-3 per chest. Normally, you can only get tokens from somone's chest one every half an hour.
This is where the exploit comes into play. Log in a level 70 that is another faction than yourself (Somone is bound to have one that you know). Kill them, and take their tokens. Now, have another buddy on a level 10 account engage this person in pvp. Once they engage, attack with your 70 once again, killing them again. The level 10 will be a new pvp encounter and thus another chest. Rinse and repeat with as many level 10's as you have available.
Now, if you use this, you are a piece of !@#$%^&*. But that is how it works to clerify and answer any questions people may have. As of this moment, I don't know what SoE is going to do about this exploit. If you use it, you use it. But it is one that will definately piss off the community.

Looks like this will only work for another day or 2. I imagine by the next update it will be resolved. Raijin is also talking about a reprimand, and roll back for thoes found guilty of using said exploit.
But to me it isn't a matter of USING the exploits, it is about KNOWING about them, and how they work. That is my sole interest.

Same here Ice_Hole. I've been a moderator here for a few years now and i only EVER use the exploits and bots to test them. Nothing more.
Also, your steps are a little confusing. Do you think you could edit your post to include a more step-by-step guide? Thanks.

This sounds like an extension of the fame/faction PVP issue that's been around for a long time.
Basically, you can only kill someone for credit every n minutes. However, if someone who has not killed that person recently attacks the person, they can kill that person for credit (you won't get credit) and make that person lose fame.
Up to now, it was only a way for you to grief someone by making them lose fame even though they were still on your /recent. However, since the tokens now drop, you can do it as a way of getting more tokens out of the person, too.

You can still get 16 or so tries at tokens every half hour, instead of just one. Either way, tokens are not 100% drop. This has nothing to do with the drop rate on them. It is a way to get a chance of a drop every 30 seconds with one level 70 of the opposite faction. Which isn't all that bad if you ask me.
Using this exploit their have been individuals temp banned from my server. But then, these people have also aquired up to 5 pieces of the pvp set gear.
