I dont know if its ever been brought up.

But as I was playing on pvp, on auto run, being followed by my group I decided to look up something about a quest so I switched out of fullscreen mode (game always freezes for a minute when you switch) when it finally switched I had warped back way behind my group my character stayed in front until I got fully into windowed mode then I warped behind. So I tested it again but this time with freeps worked like a charm, you will always warp backwards. and you can immediatly stealth and lose anyone.

If you create enough lag while switching. you can run from NQ to ANT docks and warp all the way back. same thing on the griffon you can fly, change to windowed mode and if you stay froze just long enough you will appear back at the station you took off from.

The only real way to try & confirm this is have 2 computers.

Another nifty trick I found while on my swashbuckler
was if you hit a mob with your throwing attack that slows them, then hit them with your ranged slow spell before they get to you, you can effectively run around the mob in circles hit it and backstab and take only about 10% of the damage you would normally take if you stood there and fought it. In order for this to work the mob has to be slowed(havent tried this on anything higher than a double up blue or ^ white)
