Ok this has been burning my ares for a good while now. While I am at work and SOE resets their frick'in servers I am loosing out on a good 8 hours of sales time. Yes I know you can sell from the vault but my customers are paying a marked up price and will sometimes buy from the first person to come online to avoid that fee.

What I would love to see is something that can log you in, enter your room, access the Market Board and hit Start Selling. Maybe even add an /afk with the ability to choose 1 of 5 AFK msgs random.

You could even add something to move you to a certain location (behind a counter or something) to give personal touch.

Does anyone know would it be possible to load EQ2 via AIM or something via a remote computer and get this done?

Just thinking out loud.

Wyv: does eq2service support ALL ghost IDs, or just mobs/nodes/players? If it supports world objects (just need the ghost ID, I can do everything else), this would be trivial. If not, consider it added to my request list (the other being inventory support, and broker support. I can provide struts if you can locate the data in memory...)

Hi,

What I do in this case is I have setup VNC on my machine at home and I also use openvpn (opensource) to connect thru a vpn (so its secure). When server reset I log home, start EQ, move to spot (ok its not full color graphic and take a bit more time but it work). I also use it to start my crafter, I have my own crafter program and it work like a charm.

If you need more info let me know.

Umm YEAH! Hehe cause I am having zero luck getting this VPN thing working... I really wish there was a program like EQlive had back in the day that would monitor their server status and aleart you to it comming up and how many people were online.

Oh and Watcher could you make this next bot so I don't even have to play, I want to maybe reboot every now and again but I would rather it converse with the guild, find groups, travel, decorate my apt. and a few other minor things... Would be great if you could get right on that!
