ARgh! scripts wont run.. have tried all i can think of... : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Ok... i setup XU on my home machine and last night was able to run harvestbot 2.0 no problem, and crafting was working fine...
so i come to work and set it all up, i hit start and it says starting script, the yellow text says 1 script running, press f12 to stop.

After bout 1 second it says "all scripts stopped"

Here are the specifics...
installed XU
installed crafter plugin
installed eq2 service

In XU it shows version #'s for all of the plugins

Have tried in windowed and full screen
all the vbs scripts do this same thing

I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything to try again

have disabled everything using MSconfig and turned off antivirus software in services..

Any ideas?

Yeah, run in compabible mode, install eq2 service, install eq2 crafter script, uncheck tco / ip snoop

have done all that..... forgot to put that in the post....

Well got it to work on the Xp machine.... Windows script host... found it mentioned somewhere... installed that and it started working:) will figure out the 98 machine tomorrow

On the win98 machine you might have to install the Windows Script Host 5.6+ from the microsoft website.

Yup.. installed scripting.. have tried everything i can think of... mainly i need to get crafting working on the 98 machine.. heres what happens

Go into the game.. load up the crafting plugin and it all looks normal, hit the config button the yellow box comes up.. put it on fuel, hit startcrafting and the learning text comes up..but the program never starts crafting. its like it cant control the mouse or something... I am posting from a different machine, but the last 2 lines in the log are both "attempting to lock onto client"

In options i am set to hook1 everquest2.exe and not used in hook2... any ideas? thanks guys...

If you notice bout 5 lines up it never seems to lock onto client?

This should not be turned on, make sure that box is not checked in the config tab.

Damn... could swear i had that off... will try...

if i check or uncheck tcp sniffing it shows up in the log like that.... so dont think thats it.... Wyvern wake up and help me:)

Bah.. i fixed it... nuked the machine.... installed XP copied over the same config files for xu and it works fine... just hated 98....
