Buying full stacks of items at once from the broker window. : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

This morning I was sitting at my PC and noticed that two stacks of Luminous flowers where sold at once, displaying 40 gold on two lines being sold to a player. Instead of 40 lines of Such and such bought luminous flower for 2 gold.

I know you can buy full stacks by actually going to the merchants room via the buy stack button, but is this possible from the broker window?

It seems like this is a hidden feature that folks are keeping quiet. I have asked around and noone seems to know how to do it, but see it happen alot.

I was thinking maybe he was invis when he came in my room to buy the flowers, but that makes no sense at all.

If anyone has any info on this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the consignment ID # (not easily avalible, but can be found with a packet sniffer and some knowledge of what to look for) you can use /buy_from_broker <ID#> [quanity 1-20]

doesn't hardly seem worth the exploit chance to be caught.. considering its just a matter of spamming the mouse button a few extra times...

Not sure there'd be anything SoE would object to, asside from being privy to data not shown by the UI, although the case might be made that it could be made avalible via a custom UI. I won't pretend to know if thats actualy possible or not, but its not inconciveable.

OR- it is possible to make characters that are permenantly invisible to other players. I have a couple alt mules that are like that. Theres not really any good reason to do it, since the game (and mobs) can still see you, so you don't gain any advantage. The only reason to use it would be griefing, which is why I've never bothered posting it- theres enough asshats out there already, they don't need my help. Anyhow, the point is, seeing as how I litteraly found this little fluke by accident, Im sure its known by others, and it might explain your not seeing them.
[edit] if they added real PvP (not this PvP by proxy crap we're hearing will be in the first expansion), then my invis trick would be very handy indeed- its litteraly impossible to target me by any means other than /target or clicking my name if we happen to be grouped...[/edit]

Or they just zoned in, bought, and zoned out before you noticed them.

Or theres a custom UI for the broker with a 'buy quanity' button. This is actualy the most likely- check on the UI mod sites.
