Hey all, I am a newb here and have been reading the forums all night trying to solve my problem with no luck. Maybe I am missing something.

I installed X-Unleashed, the eq2 service update, script debugger for winXP, harvestbot, and ultrabot.

My laptop is Pentium Centrino (no AMD issue here). When I load into the game I get the taskbar, and can start a script. However, nothing happens. When I examine the log files this error keeps coming up:

/06 05:38:59 AM WARNING: Requested DirectX9 Screen Format may be incompatable with XUnleashed.

08/30/06 05:39:00 AM FOUND: Direct3DDevice9::Present

08/30/06 05:39:00 AM Initializing DX9 BackBuffers...

08/30/06 05:39:06 AM DETECTED: Direct3DDevice9 Reset

I have tried changing the resolution to 1024X768 32 bit color, to no avail. I still get these errors.

I have edited the INI file on the harvestbot as directed, still nothing.

I am about to go and try it on my main computer (amd) in a little while.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hrm, we get this a lot. I heard fiddling with the DX version to hook can help.
In the X-Unleashed config, where you can define where EQ2 is located on your computer, there are a few settings you and fiddle with. Among them are some options to run with DX7 8 or 9. Try DX7 or 8.

In fact, i've had another thought. You do have Direct-X 9c installed yes?

Thought I did on laptop. I am on main computer now and that was the first thing I did. I can successfully run Radar, but now I am attempting Ultrabot. I have followed all instructions that I could fine but nothing happens; it seems like I am missing something?!?

When you run a script, am I correct is saying that you dont need to use eXhume?

ps: I am still getting Direct X errors on my main computer, but like I said radar works (harvest bot doesnt, yet...)

-Thanks

If you are getting radar your error is not xu related.

Sounds like your script config.ini needs to be tweaked/edited.
