Basically that is what is happening. I run XU and then loads up in eq2, then after it saying loggin in (name) it give me the win xp error message. So ya don't know what to do. I have installed teh service mod for eq2. Then I tried messing with my eq2.ini and took that out. Same thing. Tried starting game in full screen mode. Umm can't think of anything else. I used teh guilde that Naz wrote to install it. Anyone else having this problem?

If yes, get the AMD TEMP FIX in the programs forum.

Make sure you have all the service packs installed for XP... If you use the auto update it usually takes a few times after you've installed XP.. Just keep running the updater manually until it actually comes back with nothing left to update.
SP update and Packet sniffer are going to be your primary reasons for crashing

No need.. I am running free trial versions on 2 of my comps.. You can still DL and install SP without registering
Only draw back to that is every 30,60,90 days depending on the trial key you'll have to reinstall the OS if you have to reboot the machine for anything

Please note we do not encourage any stealing of software. If you wish to get a copy of windows XP, please visit your local retailer and support the companies that make the software that you use.

I am getting the same error message and i cant upgrade the Service packs. Any way to fix / get around this without wiping my HD and starting over with Windows? I dont have SP1 or 2

Nope its still crashing on me. I turned of Packet sniffing, updated the SPs and still no good. Any other tips would be great.
