Well everything is in the topic : XU works perfectly on my computer, but if i launch EQ2 without XU loaded i always get an fatal error upon clicking "Play" after the update check of the patcher.

Everquest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.

Of course DX9 is properly installed and since i have no problem using XU with EQ2, i don't understand why such an error.
If someone can help...
PS : My computer is an AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 2G RAM, GC NVIDIA Geforce 6800
