Came across this little exploit, thought I'd share.
In Ruins of Varsoon (RoV), there are two quests you get formt he two jail cell areas: Half pint Help and Jail Break. Both are good quests to do, and one is useful for completion of Stilleto's Orsers Heritage Quest.
Both quests require you to kill Jailors in the cell areas to get the drops you need to complete Jail Break and for one of the drops for Half Pint Help.
A jailor spawns each time with a group of guards in the two cell areas of RoV, but he will not always drop the items you need (Quest update took 20 kills for half pint help).
However there is a trick (long winded I am). This worked in the cell area with the half pint help halfling, and may indeed work in both. If you enter the cell area and the jailor is up with his guards, kill the jailor only. Then run to the other cell area. The encounter will break near the other cell area. Immediatly go back to the cell area you just killed the jailor in, and the jailor will have respawned. repeat until you get the updates.
This is great because the path to do this takes you from one spawn point to the other every time and each of the cell areas also pops "?" a lot, so you can harvest those while you do it.
using this method I didn't need to camp either spawn for a single second. It may ave taken me nearly 20 kills to get the half pint update, but at least I didn't have to spend the time of 20 respawns.
Note: This exploit will probably be broken by anyone who decides to clear the guards out, so good luck. The half pint help cell tends to have a lot less foot traffic, so you have a good chance to kepp the guards from getting killed in that area.
This trick may indeed work in a similar situation for a lot of mobs..

Yes indeed it does work for any group of mobs, although i thought they nerfed that trick awhile ago? They musn't have.
it was nerfed, However with all the recent changes, it looks like they probably broke it again. It's a good possibility they nerfed it and rescrewed it up..
I do it all the time when i need a certain monster that is grouped with a different type. I kill the one i need then run away, come back and they are both there again
