Some of you might know this, but I just thought I'd put it all in one place.
Craft upto level 10 (when it says you can't gain anymore crafting XP till you pick a class).
At that poin pick up an outfitter essentials 10, scholar 10, and provisoner 10(I think it's Provisoner, anyways. Basically all the level 10 essential books. I was actually able to craft the level 11 scholor book, as well (I'm an armorsmith now, was outfitter), but I'm not quite sure how that happened.
Anyways, in the book should be Stroma Resin.
1 (Tuber or raw Maple) + 1 water + 1 candle = 1-4 Stroma resins.
a.k.a 1 crude, 2 shaped, 3 normal, or 4 presine resins.
Here's the key. Tuber and Maple both cost about 6-12 copper each. water and candles are 6 copper each from the wholeseller. so your total cost is 24 on the high side, per synth.
Well, the wholeseller will give you 17 copper, PER RESIN, to sell back to him. Plus you don't need to wait in your room selling them. Plus they'll level you all the way to 21/22ish, I think. So on a good day you are making 17*4-18 = 50 copper a synth.
I bought 6 10 slot bags. I'll load up on 15 stacks of tubers / maple, along with the rest of the ingredeniants. (15*20 synths)*50 copper = 1.5 gold a crafting session. I usually make closer to 1.2-1.5 gold, since my alchemy skill is only maxed at 50.
Anyways, it's a real painless way for any crafter to get from 10-20, as well as making decent money during and afterwards.
