Back in December I notice a thread that sounds like an problem I'm
having with using GetPixelColor in VB scripts, in EQ2. I couldn't
see an answer. The problem is that
color = XUScriptHost.GetPixelColor(x,y)
doesn't always return the colour on the screen, it picks
up another colour from somewhere else every once in a while
(this might be a colour from the buffer as it's being drawn).
Is there a solution to this yet. As was mentioned is causes lots of
extra code to work around the unreliable pixel colours.
EQ2 servicer v1.2.7
V2 scripts v2.9.0.25
It's driving me nuts.

As far as I know, it never was fixed in full screen mode. It only worked in windowed mode.
I had some sophistcated routines that made this 99% accurate, but gave up on reading the screen once WyvernX gave me back end API's for health/power, etc.

Agreed it's best to avoid reading the screen, but I couldn't see
any API routines for craft durability, events etc.
